November 2005 • Volume 2, Issue 11 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Members Rate Chamber's Activities Leadership To Use Survey Results In 2006 Planning Support for existing businesses, economic development and networking opportunities ranked among the top three most important functions of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, according to a recent member survey. The three were among seven categories members were asked to rate. The other categories members were asked to rate were business advocacy, leadership development, education, transportation and similar initiatives, and quality of life enhancement.
Volunteers Needed For Chamber/RISD Career Summit On Jan. 30, 2006, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Richardson Independent School District (RISD) will present the first Career Summit for 1000 RISD high school juniors. Throughout the day students will attend breakout sessions on a variety of topics designed to connect the world of school to the world of work.
Annual Business Appreciation Luncheon Set For Nov. 3 New UTD President Dr. David Daniel To Keynote Event
Dr. Daniel will discuss "Why A World-Class Research University Is Important To North Texas."
