There are a number of sponsorship packages available for the banquet, including one Chairman's Level which provides the sponsor with 10 tickets to the event (two of which are at the head table), recognition from the podium and top billing in all promotional materials. For information about becoming an event sponsor, contact Eva Demarest. The banquet will be held at the Renaissance Richardson Hotel, 900 E. Lookout Drive. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a cash bar reception. The dinner will follow at 7 p.m. The cost is $65 per person or $600 for a table of eight, which includes company signage and recognition. Forum Aims To Educate Richardson Voters The Richardson Chamber of Commerce's Public Affairs and Richardson Business Breakfast steering committees are co-hosting a Richardson City Council Candidates Forum on Thursday, April 21 from 7-9 a.m. at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson. Hear from the 12 Richardson residents running in five contested city council races. The election will take place May 7. Each candidate will give a brief introductory speech, followed by a question-and-answer period and a closing statement. The cost is $20 for Chamber members or $30 for non-members and includes a continental breakfast. Reservations can be made on the Chamber's Web site or by calling 972-234-4141.
Richardson Electronics Manufacturer Doubling Size Of Its Operations
Texas Prototypes, which launched its business in Richardson just three years ago, is doubling the size of its operations in the Telecom Corridor® area. A global provider of prototyping electronics manufacturing services for original equipment and contract manufacturers, TXP - Texas Prototypes, Inc. has announced that the company has signed a five-year lease with TCIT Dallas Industrial, Inc., for 30,783 square feet of industrial warehouse space at 1299 Commerce Drive. Michael C. Shores, president and CEO of TXP-Texas Prototypes, Inc., stated, The newly acquired facility will accommodate the company's current expanding business needs while providing continued growth potential for the company and all of its divisions. As a result of recent contracts, Shores expects the company will be hiring 12-14 experienced engineering and tech staff, joining the 31 current employees. |
